Sales Manager at Handoff

We're hiring a Sales Manager to build and scale Handoff's sales function into a high-performance, predictable revenue engine — with full ownership across outbound, inbound, re-engagement, and expansion motions. In this role you'll design and run the core sales operating system: hiring and developing reps, building pipeline generation engines, improving inbound conversion, and partnering with Customer Success on account expansion. You'll own forecasting, performance management, and the playbooks that make results repeatable. This role is ideal for someone who has built a sales function from scratch before — not just managed within one. You combine sharp operational discipline with strong coaching instincts, move fast in ambiguous environments, and thrive when given full ownership of outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Build and scale a structured outbound (cold) sales engine — defining ICP, targeting, messaging, cadence, and activity benchmarks
  • Own inbound conversion performance: speed-to-lead, qualification rigor, and closing execution
  • Launch a re-engagement motion to convert stalled and lost opportunities into pipeline
  • Partner with Customer Success to build account expansion playbooks that drive incremental revenue
  • Hire, onboard, and develop high-performing sales reps; establish a culture of urgency, ownership, and accountability
  • Coach reps in real time through call reviews, deal strategy sessions, and 1:1s
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene (HubSpot) and own pipeline reporting and forecast accuracy
