As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the mission to transform our client into an "AI-Native" company by 2028. This is a high-impact, product-centered role where you will bridge the gap between complex AI innovation and the HR, Talent, and Recruiting space. You won’t just execute tickets—you will identify, prototype, and scale autonomous AI agents and intelligent workflows that deliver tangible ROI across a global enterprise.

Most Important

5+ years of software engineering experience with a mastery of Golang OR Nodejsand React.
At least 6 months of dedicated experience in applied Generative AI, specifically building AI agents, custom copilots, or RAG-based systems.
Proven expertise in microservices architecture, system design, and building production-grade services.
Strong familiarity with event-driven patterns, queues, and REST or gRPC APIs.
Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration engines, specifically Temporal.
Mastery of AI frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph and experience with enterprise LLMs like Gemini or Claude.
While some frontend work is required, you must have a heavy backend focus to ensure AI features are resilient and scalable.

Nice to Have

Prior experience building or implementing AI agents or advanced workflow automation solutions.
Previous experience with HR technology integrations, specifically Workday or Greenhouse.
Deep understanding of Python, specifically as it relates to AI/ML agent frameworks.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira for backlog management.

X-Team doesn’t offer paid vacation time but can arrange for vacation time. They encourage incorporating vacation time, health insurance etc., into your hourly rate.

Will I be working full-time or part-time hours?

At X-Team they only hire people who can fully dedicate themselves to a project — standard 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.
