Senior Data Engineer - Plataform Data Services (Brazil/Mexico)

About the Role

This position focuses on the ecosystem behind a global gaming platform including client mobile and web applications. You will lead the Grant vs Spend initiative to track player entitlements and rewards with absolute precision. Your work acts as a bridge between game services and player experiences ensuring commerce data is reliable and audit ready for a massive global platform.

Most Important

.5+ years of professional Data or Software Engineering experience
Mastery of Python and SQL.
Deep proficiency with PySpark, Airflow, and DBT.
High level experience with Databricks and cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
Proven ability to build mission critical data systems from the ground up
Regional availability based in Mexico or Brazil with a six hour overlap with Pacific Time.
Strong background in Transactional Data or Fintech environments to handle complex spend logic.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Java or Scala to navigate backend platform services.
Experience in major e commerce or banking platforms.
History of collaborating with software engineers on rigorous test plans for pipelines.
Advanced orchestration knowledge for complex automation and scheduling.

Will I be working full-time or part-time hours?

At X-Team, we only hire people who can fully dedicate themselves to a project. That means a standard 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
