About the role
AgentMail is building the identity and communication infrastructure for AI agents, starting with email. We are looking for a Senior Engineer with backend and infra focus to architect systems for agents as the end users. Responsibilities:
- Design APIs that are intuitive for both humans and LLMs
- Architect high-throughput, low-latency systems
- Write and review clean, idiomatic code
- Maintain comprehensive documentation
- Lead and manage a team of 4-6 engineers
Qualifications:
- Has 3+ years of work experience as an engineer working on infrastructure at a tech company
- Has architected software used in production by millions of users
Compensation:
- $250k - $400k base salary
- 1.0% - 2.0% equity
