About this team and role: Mozilla Finance is responsible for strategic resource allocation and oversees day-to-day financial operations as it scales its mission impact with new and existing products, technology, and business models to serve users better and advance an agenda for a healthier internet. We’re seeking a results-oriented Corporate Financial Analyst to lead our core financial planning processes, reporting, and strategic analysis. This role will be responsible for consolidating forecasts, driving budget discipline, partnering across functions, and enhancing our reporting infrastructure through automation and tooling (Pigment, Looker, Netsuite etc.). This role reports to the Head of FP&A and works closely with finance partners and senior leaders across the organization. To succeed, you will need to proactively develop creative solutions to abstract problems, deliver your work in a compelling format, and balance big picture thinking with outstanding attention to detail. This position requires a results-oriented self-starter who can work comfortably with business partners within Finance and across the organization, take tasks from start to finish, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. What you’ll do:
- Be an effective communicator and clear presenter, combining storytelling with content and delivery to persuade and encourage teams to take action and prioritize resources
- Support the team through the monthly forecast cycle, including preparation and presentation of insights to Finance leadership
- Support our consolidated planning process and maintain integrated financial models (e.g., near/long-range forecasts, scenario planning, variance analysis)
- Develop executive-level reporting, including monthly dashboards, management packages,and Board materials
- Improve and automate existing reporting processes in Pigment , Looker ,and related tools
- Translate business strategies into financial impact through investment evaluation,sensitivity modeling,and ROI analyses
- Support transformation of legacy reporting processes to scalable , forward-looking toolsand frameworks that deliver accurateand insightful informationto themanagement teamwith speedand reliability
- Partnerwith accounting during close cycles to ensure accuracyin reportedfinancialsand alignment between actualsand forecasts
- Contribute tothe developmentand maintenanceof three-statement modelsand scenario-based forecasts
What you’ll bring:
- 2+ years experience of independently managing budgetsand forecasting
- 3+ years of experience in Corporate FP&A , preferably with experience in a high-growth or tech-enabled environment
- Bachelor degree in a quantitative field,such as Finance , Statistics , Economics , or Business
- Deep experience using planning tools (Pigment , Adaptive , etc.) required
- Experience with Netsuite highly preferred , Workday a plus
- Must exhibit abilityto create compelling visualizationsand presentations
- Experience with Looker or other BI tools a plus
- Previous involvementwith month-end close anda strong understandingof financialand accounting principles
- Deep understandingof3 statement financial modelingand accounting concepts
- Flexibility (open to change)and abilityto learn onthe fly
- Candidates must possess experiencewith financial modelingand advanced spreadsheetand data modeling skills(including VBA,array functions , Power Pivots , etc) –to develop sophisticatedandscalable models
- Abilityto tackle,and succeedwith,a diverse arrayof projects that require varying skills a plus , including Python , R or SQL
- Strong attentionto detail; analyticalandinquisitive nature
