About the Role
Join Sameday.AI as a Senior Front-End Engineer to build AI-driven solutions that push the boundaries of technology. You will be responsible for building robust, high-performance user interfaces delivering seamless customer experiences in a high-stakes startup environment. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable front-end systems using React.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create beautiful, responsive designs.
- Optimize user experience by monitoring and improving performance.
- Integrate with backend services for rich data-driven experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable code and enforce best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, product managers, and data scientists.
- Mentor junior engineers through guidance and code reviews.
Requirements
Mandatory Experience:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in front-end software engineering (SaaS or AI applications).
- Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- This is an in-person position based in Lehi, Utah.
Technical Proficiency:
- Experience building responsive and performant web applications.
- Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines/tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM).
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX) and context API.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSocket communication.
- Expertise in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, front-end performance optimization.
Problem Solving & Ownership:
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing front-end systems.
- Ability to take full ownership of features from concept to deployment.
Leadership:
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions.
- Ability to establish/enforce coding standards.
Agile & Scrum Experience:
- Strong experience working in Scrum/Agile frameworks.
- Active participation in sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups.
- Ability to work effectively within collaborative teams.
