Senior Front End Engineer

Location: Remote – Anywhere (Open to applicants located anywhere around the globe) Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency. United with 10up – now the brand of our WordPress practice – we are a 300+ person team that has designed and built hundreds of digital products and experiences for brands like Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, Victoria’s Secret, MGM Resorts, Albertsons, and CLEAR. As a Contract Senior Front-End Engineer at Fueled, your mission is to architect the user-facing foundation of our digital products, transforming complex design visions into fast, accessible, and elegant experiences. You will bridge creative vision and technical execution across WordPress block themes and Next.js/React applications, demonstrating expertise in both custom CSS craftsmanship and Tailwind-based implementations depending on project requirements. Your versatility between technical environments, strategic integration of AI tools in your workflow, and commitment to performance and accessibility will directly shape how millions of users interact with our clients’ brands. Skills & Qualifications:

Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js/Next.js frameworks
Strong CSS skills including Tailwind CSS
Experience with WordPress block themes development
Familiarity with AI tools integration in development workflows
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
Proficient in performance optimization techniques
Experience with Git version control system
Agile development methodologies experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
