About the Role:
- This is for our partner'sCareer Site +IT Portal Work which has a distinct emphasis on the candidate experience. In addition to AI solution development, this role requires owning the career site frontend architecture, CMS integrations, and complex API integrationsto manage dynamic job postings and application flows.
Most Important:
- 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 6 months focused on applied AI/GenAI.
- Strong Front-End engineering skills using React and TypeScript, focused on building performant and accessible web experiences.
- Backend programming skills (Golang preferred), along with Python and Node.js.
- Expertise in microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, queues, and event-driven patterns.
- Must have experience building API integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, HR/ATS systems) and solving complex data synchronization challenges.
- Experience with Temporal.
- Experience with LLM architectures (RAG, agents, fine-tuning) and tools like Gemini, Claude, LangChain/LangGraph, and Python.
- Ability to integrate AI into candidate experiences, such as building AI-powered chatbots.
- Proficiency using AI copilots like LibreChat, Gemini, and Glean.
Nice-to-Have:
- Specific expertise with Contentful CMS (content modeling, delivery/preview API integrations).
- Specific experience with Greenhouse APIs (embed API, harvest API) and job board integration patterns.
- Experience building career sites, candidate-facing recruitment platforms or conversational AI/chatbots.
- Prior experience building production ML/AI systems or AI agents.

Will I be working full-time or part-time hours?
At X-Team we only hire people who can fully dedicate themselves to a project. That means a standard 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.
