Senior Full-Stack Python Engineer (Europe)

About the Role

Bridge the gap between digital innovation and physical fulfillment as a Senior Software Engineer for an anonymous supply chain innovator. In this product-centric role, you will go far beyond executing tickets to actively shape the future of a personalized marketing platform scaling across a massive warehouse network. You will own the full feature lifecycle, from designing serverless backend architectures to crafting responsive frontends, driving both immediate revenue growth and long-term technical evolution.

Most Important

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven mastery of Python and React.
• Full-stack versatility with the comfort to work across the entire stack, ideally maintaining a balanced split between frontend and backend development.
• Serverless AWS expertise including at least two years of experience building architectures with Lambda, Aurora, and S3.
• Event-driven design familiarity with a strong preference for practical experience utilizing AWS EventBridge.
• DevOps and database proficiency, including hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, and SQL systems such as MySQL and TimescaleDB.
• Lifecycle ownership demonstrated through the ability to drive features from initial conception and testing to iterative deployment.
• Timezone alignment allows up to 4 hours of daily overlap with the UK timezone.

Nice to Have

• Multi-language flexibility with experience in Go or Node.js, particularly when transitioning from React-based JavaScript.
• IoT and frontend tooling ecosystem knowledge, including Material UI, Raspberry Pi, OpenWRT, or AWS IoT.
