Senior iOS Engineer (Latam)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer for a global leader in the Health & Wellness space, specifically joining a high-impact product team focused on revolutionizing nutrition tracking and meal planning. In this role, you will be a key player building feature-heavy experiences that help millions of users reach their fitness and health goals through effortless data logging and smart insights. You will operate in an environment driven by Rapid Experimentation, where building A/B tests and iterating on complex product hypotheses is the norm. This is an ideal position for a senior engineer who thrives at the intersection of high-performance engineering and product strategy.

Most Important

• 6+ years of professional experience building and scaling robust iOS applications, with a mastery of Swift and modern Swift Concurrency (async/await).
• Exceptional proficiency in both SwiftUI for rapid development and UIKit for complex, highly customized, or legacy components.
• A strong background in feature-heavy environments where data-driven experimentation and A/B testing guide development.
• Proficiency in MVVM, or Clean Architecture to ensure the codebase remains modular, testable, and resilient during rapid iterations.
• Strong soft skills with the ability to navigate difficult technical scenarios, gain business buy-in, and collaborate deeply with product stakeholders.
• Ability to overlap 6 hours with EST/EDT.

Nice to Have

• Practical experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate workflows or integrate on-device ML for features like smart macro-logging.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or Objective-C to assist in bridging logic or refactoring legacy modules.
• Experience with automated deployment pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise) and monitoring tools to maintain high app stability.
