We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Strategic Operations Manager to lead and oversee our strategic initiatives and operational functions. This is an individual contributor role that will lead cross-functional initiatives critical to 1Password’s growth trajectory, collaborating with senior leaders to achieve business objectives. Leveraging their project management and strategic thinking, the Senior Strategic Operations Manager will guide and mentor team members, driving continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality results that meet or exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we’re looking for:
- 7-9+ years of experience in strategic operations and/or program management.
- Previous experience in the SaaS industry and familiarity with Tech and Security environments are considered an asset.
- Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives and driving execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills.
- Execution mindset and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated growth mindset with thirst for identifying growth opportunities and a knack for identifying and solving ambiguous problems.
- Consistently seen as the go-to person for programs they lead with a track record for accountability and execution.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and change, with a can-do attitude.
What you can expect:
- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to optimize efficiency, strengthen cross-functional execution and align business operations with organizational priorities.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to drive execution of key strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current processes and identify areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions to enhance operations.
- Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans and roadmaps for both new programs and nebulous mid-flight initiatives; proactively adapt strategies as business needs evolve.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics; provide insights/recommendations to enhance decision-making processes; ensure recommendations are implemented.
- Identify/communicate progress/challenges/opportunities on strategic initiatives to leadership.
- Drive change management initiatives by fostering culture of continuous improvement/innovation.
- Build strong relationships across teams/stakeholders; serve as trusted advisor on operational matters.
- Own success/delivery of assigned initiatives; manage risks/issues proactively; escalate when necessary.
Compensation & Benefits:
USA roles: $173K-$235K USD base salary + benefits Canada roles: $153K-$207K CAD base salary + benefits Includes equity grants & incentive programs
