*Sully requires A-players capable of 4 months = 1 year output.* This role is structured as a Contract-to-Hire position with a 60-day trial period. Sully.ai maintains an exceptionally high performance bar, and this structure ensures mutual alignment before transitioning to full-time
What You ll Do
- Own multi loud provisioning, upgrading, and reliability of the core platform
- Automate everything via infrastructure as code and GitOps
- Ship fully automated deployments across regions
- Standardize developer experience across areas such as tooling and CI/CD
- Optimize our stack s scalability and maintain cost awareness for AI workloads
What You *Must* Bring
- Senior-level experience & ability in Platform, DevOps, or SRE roles with production Kubernetes across multiple clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), not single loud only.
- Proficiency with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code, including ArgoCD and either Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong coding skills in Python or TypeScript for platform tooling and automation.
First-Month Focus
- Take a loosely defined platform challenge, write the requirements, and deliver a working solution
- Audit platform, CI/CD, and dev tooling with Eng/Product; remove top blockers
- Baseline key metrics (lead time, deploy freq, MTTR, cost per token); draft a Platform Playbook

- 100% infrastructure changes via IaC + GitOps; no console edits
- Automated multiregion deployments across 62 clouds; SLOs enforced; MTTR 50%
- Engineer efficiency up 8090% on routine workflows; reduced LLM and infra cost
