Job Summary

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Product Manager, AIOps to join a diverse, customer-focused team building the industry’s best event orchestration and automation capabilities within the PagerDuty Operations Cloud. The vision is to enable AI-augmented software developers to build and ship applications 10x faster and run them reliably and autonomously in production. Automated event intelligence will detect anomalies and resolve most issues through AI agents and automated diagnostics, allowing human teams to focus on innovation rather than firefighting. Events flow into PagerDuty AIOps from production infrastructure, applications, developer tooling, and customer service platforms. Using machine learning and event-driven automation, it detects anomalies and triggers incident workflows to mobilize human responders and specialized AI agents. The role supports the AIOps product including service topology mapping, data enrichment and search, and visualization in the Operations Console. The ideal candidate has deep understanding of applications and infrastructure monitoring and observability systems, strong technical acumen, basic SQL knowledge, and a #ChampionTheCustomer mindset. Collaboration with engineers, UX designers, go-to-market teams (marketing, sales, success, support), and enterprise customers is essential. Note: While this role is posted as remote, preference will be given to candidates near hub locations (San Francisco, Atlanta, or Toronto).

Key Responsibilities

• Research customer needs; define and evangelize a roadmap reflecting strategic vision for AIOps considering business strategy, technical feasibility, usability
• Understand broader Operations Cloud vision; deliver competitive differentiation by integrating with other product portfolio elements
• Partner with engineers, data scientists, designers to deliver and iterate on products addressing critical customer needs
• Embrace a “product-led growth mindset” to deliver customer value and drive adoption/usage
• Build partnerships across integration ecosystem to drive utility, usage, revenue growth

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as product manager driving full product lifecycle including defining/driving success metrics; ideally in B2B SaaS
• Experience using API-first development practices for product design and requirements structuring
• Familiarity with UI/UX best practices, usability testing, interpreting user research for roadmap/feature decisions
• Proven ability to build positive working relationships with engineering, UX design teams and cross-functional teams outside product development
• Experience working with marketing, sales & enablement for go-to-market activities; driving PLG (product-led growth) & SLG adoption post-release
• Effective communication across diverse backgrounds; lead through influence using metrics/research
• Passionate about execution; curious & driven learner unafraid to ask for help
• Proficiency with analytics tools; data-driven decision-making track record
• Strong customer empathy; curiosity-driven approach to learning customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI, ML or Data Science principles
• Comfort with SQL or data analysis tools
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, data analytics, computer science or related technical field
• MBA is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $161,000 - $271,000 USD (may be eligible for bonus/commission/equity/benefits)
