Build the next generation of creative tools with AI

Generative AI is changing how creative work gets made. At Envato, we’re building for that shift. We help millions of creative professionals find the assets and tools they need to create. Now we’re bringing generative AI deeper into that experience, helping customers generate, edit and customise content as part of their everyday workflows. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager - GenAI to help turn that opportunity into products creative professionals genuinely want to use. This is a role for someone who is already deep in the world of GenAI. You’re using the tools, exploring new models and paying attention to what is changing. You’re curious about what the technology can do, but just as interested in whether it solves a real customer problem.

What you’ll do

  • Work within Envato’s broader GenAI strategy, owning a defined product area and taking initiatives from discovery through to launch and iteration.
  • Understand customer problems, explore product opportunities and determine where generative AI can meaningfully improve creative workflows using customer research, product data, experimentation and hands-on understanding of GenAI.
  • Experiment with emerging models, use AI to explore concepts and prototype ideas; build practical understanding of model capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering teams to develop high quality experiences balancing creative quality, customer experience with model performance, reliability, scale and cost.
  • Define success metrics post-launch; analyze customer usage data; continuously improve products based on evidence.

What we’re looking for

  • Experienced Product Manager who has owned complex customer-facing product initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration; ideally in SaaS, technology or AI.
  • Strong practical fluency in generative AI and generative media; understanding of models, APIs and emerging capabilities sufficient to collaborate with technical teams; comfortable using AI for prototyping and testing ideas.
  • Interest in creative professionals (designers, filmmakers, editors) and understanding difference between impressive AI demos vs useful outputs in professional creative work; experience with creative products/tools valuable.
  • Ability to synthesize customer, technical and commercial information into clear priorities/product decisions; comfortable navigating ambiguity and making trade-offs autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to build alignment across Product, Design and Engineering teams.

Why Envato?

  • Unique opportunity at intersection of creative professionals, generative AI and a global product used at scale.
  • Focus on genuine improvements in creative work via AI rather than adding AI arbitrarily.
  • Opportunity to solve open challenges in this space.

Life at Envato

  • Flexible Working: remote-first across Australia or New Zealand with flexibility.
  • Work from Anywhere: up to 3 months per calendar year in another location.
  • Connection Budget: annual budget for team meetups.
  • Learning Budget: study leave plus annual budget for learning/development.
  • Home Office Allowance: contribution towards setup plus monthly allowance for WFH costs.
  • Wellbeing: access to holistic assistance program covering life/health support.
  • Volunteer Leave: two days per calendar year.
  • Parental Leave: twenty weeks paid primary carer leave; six weeks paid secondary carer leave.
