About this team and role:
The OS Integration, Graphics, and Media teams sit at the core of the browser platform, responsible for how Firefox interfaces with operating systems, renders web content, and delivers high-performance audio and video experiences. Together, they build and optimize the low-level systems (from graphics pipelines and OS abstractions to real-time media and WebRTC) that enable fast, secure, and reliable user experiences across platforms. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive strategy and execution across these foundational platform areas, balancing deep technical investments with user- and developer-facing impact. This role will partner closely with engineering to prioritize performance, reliability, and capability improvements while aligning cross-functional stakeholders around a cohesive roadmap.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with engineering to prioritize and deliver improvements in performance, reliability, and platform capabilities across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and core rendering/media pipelines.
- Translate complex, low-level platform work into clear product direction, making trade-offs between new features, paying down technical debt, and long-term architectural improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, developer relations, and partner teams to ensure cohesive experiences across web APIs, graphics, and media playback.
- Use data, telemetry, and user insights to inform decisions, measure success, and continuously improve platform quality and stability.
- Experience building and managing relationships with external partners to align on integrations, influence roadmaps, and deliver shared outcomes.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of product management experience including ownership of complex technically deep platform or infrastructure products.
- 3+ years working closely with systems-level engineering teams (e.g., operating systems , graphics , media or networking).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product strategy priorities and roadmaps.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills using data and telemetry to guide product outcomes.
- Proven track record of cross-functional leadership influencing engineering and partner teams without direct authority.
- Commitment to values: welcoming differences; being relationship-minded; practicing responsible participation; having grit.
What you’ll get:
- Generous performance-based bonus plans.
- Rich medical dental vision coverage.
- Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting.
- Quarterly all-company wellness days.
- Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday.
- One-time home office stipend.
- Annual professional development budget.
- Quarterly well-being stipend.
- Considerable paid parental leave.
- Employee referral bonus program.
- Other benefits (life/AD&D disability EAP etc. varies by country).
