Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with AI - Job Description

• Lead analysis, design, development, and support of SAP technical solutions.
• Deliver high-quality SAP developments and drive system integration.
• Ensure SAP applications meet evolving business needs and automation goals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and third-party partners.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with best practices and AI-driven technologies.
• Contribute to adoption of intelligent automation and AI-enabled SAP capabilities (process optimization, predictive analytics, conversational interfaces, machine learning integrations).

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes to identify gaps and recommend SAP technical solutions.
• Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and designs.
• Design, develop, test, support SAP ABAP solutions per SAP standards.
• Deliver/support RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) in SAP ECC environment.
• Produce/maintain technical documentation (designs, specifications).
• Perform code analysis, debugging, performance optimization.
• Support SAP integrations with third-party applications via interfaces/web services/SAP Gateway OData services.
• Manage system changes through change control/governance processes.
• Provide technical/integration architecture guidance to teams/stakeholders.
• Estimate development effort; contribute to project planning/delivery timelines.
• Lead small-scale technical initiatives; mentor junior analysts/developers.
• Facilitate workshops to gather/validate/refine technical requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams on solutions/technical standards/delivery quality.
• Support testing activities (unit testing, smoke testing, UAT).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to quality/compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 7 years hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering end-to-end SAP developments across multiple project lifecycles (implementations/upgrades/migrations/rollouts/mergers/divestitures).
• Expertise in SAP ABAP development/troubleshooting/debugging/performance tuning.
• Strong experience delivering RICEFW developments.

• Excellent communication/stakeholder engagement skills; collaborative/customer-focused approach.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently or as part of a team.
