Senior Software Engineer I (Localization) at Articulate
Location: United States, Remote (US-based role) Job Type: Full-time, Remote Responsibilities:
- Build new features and enhance existing ones with quality focus
- Iterate quickly to bring customer value
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product leaders
- Mentor software engineers and review work constructively
- Participate in defining application architecture
- Participate in on-call rotation and improve incident response process
- Contribute to a remote-first company culture
- Focus on quality results over effort
Requirements:
- Proven track record of implementing, shipping, and maintaining production software
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Collaborative team-based work history
- Strong communication skills for technical topics with engineers and non-engineers
- Ability to work with little oversight
- Clear, testable, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript coding skills
- Proficiency in fullstack JavaScript/TypeScript technologies (React.js, Node.js, Postgres, Docker)
- Proficiency with backend technologies (Node.js, Postgres, Docker)
- Experience with event-driven architecture
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with LLM or generative vision model components
- AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, Bedrock)
- OpenAI or similar AI tools knowledge (TypeScript, Python)
- Awareness of ethical implications of AI use
Compensation: $137,700 - $182,426 per year plus bonus eligibility Additional Information:
- US-based remote role; employees must reside and work within the US
- Occasional travel for company events may be required
