The company is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer for the UK market to solve complex customer problems by working directly with sales teams and channel partners. The role involves understanding customer needs, supporting evaluations, and helping customers choose Snowflake solutions. Key aspects of the role include:

• Presenting Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
• Demonstrating Snowflake technology value throughout the sales cycle (demo, proof of concept, design, implementation).
• Developing technical champions within accounts to drive deals.
• Staying current with Snowflake technology and industry trends.
• Collaborating with sales engineers, product management, engineering, marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
• Representing Snowflake at industry or customer events.
• Contributing to account and territory plans.

Expectations from day one:

• Experience in solution engineering/architecture in SaaS or relevant fields (analytics, data science, data engineering).
• Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Understanding of data architecture, analytics, cloud technology.
• Hands-on SQL experience.
• Ability to solve customer business problems using Snowflake solutions.
• Effective communication skills with diverse audiences.

Preferred qualifications (not required):

• Experience in Wealth & Asset Management or FS/Insurance industries.
• Hands-on Python experience.
• Familiarity with modern data technologies (dbt, spark, containers, devops tooling, orchestration tools, git).
• Experience with AI, data science, machine learning technologies.
