We are seeking a Senior or Staff Infrastructure Engineer to join a Network Infrastructure Reliability team responsible for operating and evolving a global, service-provider-grade network serving millions of users worldwide. This role sits directly on the backbone of the network, owning the design, reliability, and expansion of critical infrastructure. Time Zone: 6–8 hours of overlap with PST Location: Open worldwide

Required Technical Skills

Deep hands-on experience with service provider networking, including BGP, IS-IS, and MPLS
Strong knowledge of label signaling (RSVP-TE, Segment Routing, LDP)
Experience with MPLS VPNs (Layer 2 and Layer 3) and multicast signaling
Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot large-scale, global networks in production
Strong understanding of OSI layers 4–7 and global load balancing strategies
Experience with traffic engineering, traffic analysis, and QoS across vendor hardware
Hands-on incident response and on-call experience in high-availability environments
Proficiency in automation and tooling using Python and/or Golang
Experience with AWS connectivity and core services (EC2, S3, EBS)
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in infrastructure environments

Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to diagnose complex production issues under pressure and drive them to resolution.
Project Leadership: Experience working within Agile frameworks and the ability to lead the technical direction of projects while aligning multiple teams around shared goals.
Adaptability: Comfortable rapidly learning new technologies, systems, and domain-specific complexities in fast-moving environments.

Experience mentoring or technically leading other engineers
Background in reliability engineering or SRE-adjacent roles
Strong foundation in systems and cloud engineering principles
Familiarity with ITIL or formal incident management processes
Experience operating multi-region or multi-cloud network environments
