We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment. What you’ll achieve As a Senior Test Engineer, you will develop and document test plans for newly developed or current hardware and solutions products. You will partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership. You will also create test plans that include resource requirements based on inputs from Development and Marketing. Finally, you will work with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and test coverage across multiple test organizations. You will:

  • Define and implement new test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage
  • Implement a continuous improvement process for test plans, test cases, and automation during and after test projects
  • Evaluate effectiveness of test plan and assess test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage
  • Communicate and partner with test technicians in the execution of test plans
  • Lead Manufacturing project enablement's utilizing lean methodologies including factory design layouts - conveyor, lifts, infrastructure, cost negotiations, schedules, and IT deployments

  • 5 to 8 years of related experience
  • Solid understanding of hardware and software system architecture and interactions and should be able to apply it to resolve issues
  • Experience leading large scale manufacturing infrastructure projects as well as IT enablements in the factory
  • Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Compensation: Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $109,650 - $141,900
