About the Job

DevriX is hiring a WordPress Engineer for our office in Sofia, Bulgaria – fully on-site – for our existing portfolio of WordPress-driven clients: B2B SaaS, publishers, healthcare, booking platforms, non-profits, and more. Retention through quality work and educational account management are in the core of our business model, with half of our portfolio with us for 4+ years, and several partners going through mergers, acquisitions, exits, while retaining DevriX in the entire process and after. Innovation is at the forefront of our core stack – building on top of WordPress and custom solutions, through big data pipelines and workflows within Google and Amazon’s ecosystems, to MCP integrations, agentic microtools and n8n workflows, and vibe coding demos within the team and during discovery sessions. This engineering role requires a strong command of WordPress development + scalability traits, and a command of copilot development, GPT integrations, and vibe coding principles for prototyping and UX modeling in use internally.

Key Goals

• Independently deliver features, enhancements, optimizations, and technical debt clean-up recommendations across different projects within the organization
• Work in parallel with other in-house engineers, coordinating priority assignments in the process
• Support core teams in high-scale WordPress solutions, building 3rd party integrations, scaling for high-traffic load, leveraging core WordPress APIs and building on top of underlying frameworks
• Seamless end-to-end delivery – from task completion through GitHub pipelines and deployment cycles to server provisioning and debugging as needed
• Operate in a multi-platform environment, with PHP and JavaScript as underlying layers, in addition to Python and different JS-flavored frameworks
• Maximize delivery through copilots, automation tools (n8n/Make), UI prototyping with v0, and up and coming market solutions
