Role Overview
As a Software Engineer at Promise, you will be at the forefront of transforming our vision into reality. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and building our core product offerings from the ground up, shaping the technical foundation of our mission to revolutionize how governments engage with their constituents trying to pay off debt. Being in the early stages of our product development provides you with a unique opportunity to leave a significant imprint on our software architecture and user experience. What You Do
- Make strategic technical decisions that align with our overarching goal: to enhance the way government serves its constituents.
- Design, develop, and maintain features for our consumer app, as well as components of our communications and integration platform.
- Collaborate with teams across the stack, ensuring that our software solutions address genuine user needs and real-world challenges.
- Be ready to jump in and help teammates, tackling any task that moves the project forward, no matter how big or small.
- Lead the coding, testing, and deployment of key functionality, continually seeking feedback to refine and improve.
- Stay committed to the deployment process, ensuring smooth rollouts, even if it means round-the-clock monitoring.
- Be prepared to pivot and iterate rapidly based on feedback, maintaining a high standard of quality and performance.

What Will Enable You
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, preferably building large scale, enterprise applications and working in startups or highly dynamic environments.
- A commitment to creating software that centers around government efficiency and accessibility.
