Role Overview:

• Build next generation growth marketing technology at Palo Alto HQ (hybrid work: 3 days in office).
• Work intersects engineering, data science, AI, marketing.
• Build systems for user acquisition/retention using AI/data models for budget/spend decisions.
• Optimize marketing performance using signals from inventory, demand forecasting, logistics,

storeroom behavior customer intent product similarity market intelligence.

• Platform supports international expansion across countries/categories/styles/channels.
• Work includes backend services APIs customer-facing web/mobile apps internal tools personalization experimentation attribution data-driven workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end software features (backend services/APIs/web/mobile apps).
• Build scalable high-performance systems following best practices with minimal supervision.
• Identify root causes of complex problems (performance/scale/stability) and propose solutions short to long term.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product/design/engineering teams to define requirements and deliver seamless experiences.
• Use LLM coding tools and advanced prompting techniques for high-quality production code.
• Write clean efficient well-documented code maintaining high engineering standards.
• Write/maintain technical documentation including API specs and design docs.
• Participate in code reviews; contribute to coding standards and best practices development.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years professional experience building production software systems.
• Experience developing full-stack applications using modern frontend frameworks and backend technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming models.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working on scalable web or mobile applications.
• Proficient debugging skills.
• Proficient use of AI / LLM coding tools and prompting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced startup environments handling ambiguity.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $160000 - $213000 USD base salary + Bonus + Equity (varies by experience/location).
