  • Join Developer Platform Experience team under Platform Engineering.
  • Responsible for internal developer portals, CLI, APIs, software taxonomy, local dev environments.
  • Developing new software taxonomy system and developer portal based on Backstage.
  • Collaborate with other teams to adopt a unified cloud-native platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, deploy backend, frontend, client-side applications.
  • Collaborate via peer reviews, planning exercises, pair programming.
  • Write tickets, spikes, runbooks; create internal documentation.
  • Support internal users; participate in 24x7 weekly on-call rotation.
  • Improve internal developer platform interfaces and onboarding processes.

Qualifications: Required:

  • Ability to work remotely using GitHub, Jira, Slack, Zoom.
  • Proficiency in Typescript, Python, Go, Terraform, Bash (any/all).
  • Experience with AWS cloud environment software development/operation.
  • Familiarity with relational databases.
  • 2+ years full-time software engineering experience focused on platform engineering.

Desired:

  • Strong opinions on developer experience and local development best practices.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks: React, Angular or Vue.
  • Familiarity with internal developer platform frameworks: Backstage, OpsLevel, Cortex or Battlestar.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes; infrastructure-as-code fluency.
  • Fluency with AI platforms like Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot for software development acceleration.
  • Experience with SaaS/open source observability tools: OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana or Prometheus.

Travel: Occasional travel may be required for project/team meetings. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive pay; example range for certain states: $114,600 - $143,300 (Tier 3).
  • Eligible for equity plan and corporate bonus plan (location dependent).
