We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Solutions to work directly at the intersection of product engineering and customer integrations. This is a hands-on technical role, not a support or pre-sales position. You’ll work with the engineering and product teams to design, build, and launch complex integrations on top of Suger’s platform, while also shaping internal systems, APIs, and tooling to make those integrations scalable and reliable. As we expand Suger with AI-powered agents and infrastructure, this role will increasingly focus on automating and optimizing workflows across pricing, contracting, billing, and compliance. We work in a hybrid model with 4 days per week in our Downtown Vancouver office.

In this role, you'll:

• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and map workflows to Suger’s APIs, integrations, and AI-powered automation.
• Lead technical discovery, demos, walkthroughs, and AI-enabled proof-of-concepts, helping customers understand how intelligent workflows fit into their systems.
• Troubleshoot API issues, investigate logs, validate configurations, and support escalations across both traditional services and AI-backed components.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to reproduce issues, debug complex systems, and ensure clear technical handoffs.
• Partner with Product and Customer Success to surface customer needs, especially around AI reliability, explainability, and automation, and influence the roadmap.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, and sample code for APIs, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
• Translate complex technical and AI-related concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
