About the Role:
Gusto is looking for a hands-on engineering leader to lead our Pay Mobile team, responsible for building and scaling the mobile experiences that help employers and workers get paid simply and reliably in the Gusto app. This domain is at the heart of Gusto’s mission, ensuring millions of employees across hundreds of thousands of businesses are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with an ever evolving regulatory landscape. As part of the broader Pay group, you will play a critical role in advancing Gusto’s mobile first vision by owning the full lifecycle of mobile surfaces tied to paying people and by partnering closely with cross functional stakeholders and other app teams to drive impact. In this role, you will lead and grow a team of engineers, set a clear technical and product direction, and raise the bar for quality, reliability, and customer trust, while also exploring how to thoughtfully leverage AI on mobile to improve key workflows and outcomes.

Compensation:
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $163,... and $198,... Stock equity is additional.
Location & Remote Work:
