Job Description for Solutions Engineer at Peregrine Technologies

The Role

• Evangelize Peregrine's product and mission to potential customers.
• Tell our story and highlight tailored features in the platform that meet our customer's needs.
• Craft the right narrative for existing and potential customers through specific customer use cases, strategic market intelligence, and compelling product demonstrations.
• Play a critical role in new business efforts and deployment efforts by channeling use-cases and success stories into strategic positioning.
• Possess deep product fluency, creative data analytic skills, significant customer and workflow empathy.
• Build compelling product demonstrations and data workflows from scratch.
• Be a team player who is curious, proactive, and committed to developing content for driving new business conversations.
• Speak fluently about our product on a technical level and distill technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders across executive, operational, and technical spectrum.
• Ensure customer questions are answered in sales phase; architect solutions addressing unique technical challenges.

What We Look For

• 5-7+ years experience in enterprise software/SaaS or technical consulting.
• Technical or engineering background (computer science, data science or quantitative fields).
• Excellent communication skills across executive, technical, non-technical audiences; preferably public safety/emergency management/national security experience.
• Experience leading pre-sales discussions including demos, scoping, pricing, contracting.
• Cross-functional project experience across product design, software engineering, customer success, sales & marketing teams.
• Customer-centric workflow & impact-focused mindset willing to dive into new analytical/technical challenges.
• Comfortable traveling 40-50% of time.

Compensation

Salary Range: $155000 - $185000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable) Actual compensation influenced by skill set, experience level & work location.
