About the role
Benepass is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive meaningful product work on a small, high-ownership team. This role is ideal for a PM who is strong in execution, comfortable operating with autonomy, and excited to take ownership of solving problems in a fast-moving environment. You’ll work on real, customer-facing problems, partner closely with Design and Engineering, and be trusted to deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight. Turn clear strategy into shipped outcomes and learn quickly from results.
What you’ll do
- Own projects/problem areas with clear goals and success criteria from discovery through delivery.
- Translate high-level product direction into concrete requirements, plans, and decisions.
- Partner closely with Design and Engineering to build thoughtful, high-quality product experiences.
- Lead product discovery to understand user needs and validate solutions before and after launch.
- Drive day-to-day execution; keep work on track; surface risks/blockers early.
- Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and open questions clearly to partners and leadership.
- Use data, user feedback, and judgment to evaluate impact and inform iteration.
- Operate independently within scope while collaborating for alignment and quality.
What they’re looking for (Skills/Qualifications)
- 3–5+ years as a Product Manager.
- Experience delivering product work in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
- Comfortable owning execution and following through commitments.
- Ability to break down problems, ask good questions, make progress without step-by-step instruction.
- Clear and proactive communication with cross-functional partners.
- Curious, thoughtful, motivated to learn and grow as a PM.
- Takes accountability seriously; steps up when things don’t go as planned.
- No prior experience required in benefits, fintech or regulated industries but must be excited to learn complex domains.
