What you will be doing:

This position is accountable for ensuring:

Providing SAP Basis knowledge and experience managing large scale end to end SAP implementations and assistance
Managing, monitoring, upgrading, and enhancing SAP systems environments
Configure/maintain transport system
SAP system administration, System copy, SAP performance tuning, TMS admin, Language assistance, Applying Patches, Backup and Restore, etc.
Administering the SAP database with the Database Administrator including planning and performing database upgrades, apply database maintenance, design and maintain physical database layout, perform database reorganizations
Designing and implementing backup and restore strategy, maintaining database security, administering database performance, managing database storage, database problem determination and resolution
Participate in the team’s rotational shift pattern (24/7) and on-call coverage rotation plan
Database administration of SAP ASE and SAP HANA database
Open to Adapt and learn Artificial Intelligence along with related technologies
Learn different database technologies and provide assistance

What we need from you:

At least 6+ year’s experience in SAP Basis Administration
While we realise you might not have everything on the list to be the successful candidate for the SAP Basis Admin job you will likely have strong experience in similar roles. The position requires specialized knowledge and experience in performing the following:
SAP Basis Experience managing large scale SAP Landscape
SAP ASE Administration experience
SAP Business Suite, S4HANA, BW4HANA experience
PI/PO, SAP BO, SAP BODS Administration
SAP Hana Database & HA/DR experience
Knowledge of the emerging HANA ecosystem and associated architecture
Strong technical skills in SAP system administration, System copy, SAP performance tuning, TMS admin, Language assistance, Applying Patches, Backup and Restore

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in designing SAP technical solution architecture
SAP Sybase (ASE) administration with replication knowledge
SAP and HANA database security administration
Complex Single sign on - kerberos, saml, SPNEGO knowledge
SAP SLT replication knowledge
Monitoring,tuning,and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems
Experience in managing users,Fiori apps roles,and SSO Fiori
Knowledge of Hardware capacity planningand high availability solutions; Clustering; Disaster Recovery solutions
