We’re looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer to expand our growing business and ITSM Specialist team in the US. Our Solutions Engineers are accustomed to solving our customer’s hardest problems and closing our largest enterprise deals. In this role, you’ll be working directly with the enterprise sales teams and channel partners to understand the needs of Atlassian’s customers. You’ll strategize on how to navigate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately close business. In this role, you will:

  • Specialize in Atlassian’s ITSM offerings, leveraging expertise to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency for enterprise customers
  • Work closely together with our cross-functional teams to drive the customer journey
  • Work with your team to investigate, discover, and assess client pain points and map client business and technical requirements to Atlassian capabilities
  • Partner with sales management to align the overall account plan and customer outcomes
  • Be delivering deeply compelling presentations, demonstrations and proof of concepts to customers and prospect
  • Work with product management to advance Atlassian’s product line and provide customer feedback

Your Background:

  • 5+ years of experience interacting with mid-market/enterprise customers in a pre-sales capacity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills to multi-level audiences
  • Unmatched agility to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Experience selling ITSM solutions helping customers manage and deliver IT services
  • Creative problem solver who can interpret complex business problems into solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with prospects, partners, and sales teams delivering compelling value-based solutions
  • Comfortable in both business and technical contexts; able to interact with executives or technical audiences
  • Passionate about learning continuously; open to feedback; tolerate failure; love winning; hate losing
  • Customer-centric mindset with proven track record building executive relationships with customers
  • Ability to rally internal teams across company to meet customer needs

Compensation

Atlassian strives for equitable, explainable, competitive compensation programs. The baseline range is higher than typical market range; most candidates hired near baseline. Base pay ranges for new hires in US geographic pay zones:
