Creating a career you love? It’s Possible. At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI. Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here. The Global Content Organization (GCO) team is looking for a Senior Strategy & Operations Lead to drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives at the intersection of content strategy, creator ecosystem growth and monetization. You'll partner directly with GCO leaders and cross-company stakeholders to shape strategy, define operating models and ensure we're executing efficiently against our biggest content, creator and revenue bets.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead strategic problem solving for GCO's highest-priority initiatives by structuring ambiguous problems, developing clear hypotheses, scoping required analyses and driving to and executing on actionable recommendations that shape priorities for the content and creator ecosystem.
  • Own the analytical foundation for strategy development — independently gathering, querying (SQL) and structuring data across sources to identify insights and support recommendations regularly.
  • Partner with XFN teams on competitive positioning research and new monetization opportunities, including how Pinterest goes to market with creators, and translate findings into strategic narratives that inform leadership decisions.
  • Operate as a strategic thought partner to GCO leadership and cross-functional partners, driving alignment through coalition-building and influence without direct authority.
  • Structure and execute projects by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, building relevant working groups, and developing final recommendations.
  • Author executive-ready narratives that synthesize complex data, market dynamics, competitive signals and internal context into clear compelling stories used in strategy reviews and decision-making forums with senior stakeholders.
  • Use AI to accelerate analysis, iteration and synthesis including frameworks distilling research themes and automating repeatable reporting while applying judgment and verification to ensure correctness and quality.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in management consulting corporate strategy or strategy & operations/business operations in tech or media.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Economics Analytics or Strategy.
  • Experience with content and creator ecosystems at scale; understanding platform growth retention monetization.
  • Strong structured thinking analytical skills comfortable with SQL data querying.
  • Experience influencing senior leaders (Director+) across multiple functions without authority.
  • Proven track record leading complex cross-functional programs end-to-end.
  • Preferred experience in monetization strategy related to content/creator platforms.
  • Exceptional ability to create clear executive narratives from complex data.
  • Demonstrated use of AI to improve workflow speed quality with critical evaluation skills.
  • High integrity in handling sensitive data accountability for deliverables.

Additional Details:

  • Position is not eligible for relocation assistance; requires being within commutable distance of Los Angeles or San Francisco offices for 1–2 days/month in-person collaboration.
  • Salary range: $146561—$301744 USD plus equity eligibility.
  • US-based applicants only.

Inclusion Statement: Pinterest is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity inclusion.
