Staff Technical Program Manager, Assembly and Integration

About The Role: As part of Archer’s mission, we’re scaling production of our cutting-edge eVTOL aircraft, Midnight 1.0, while planning for the next-generation Midnight 1.1. This team owns execution across assembly, integration, and test, managing detailed sequencing, resolving build challenges, and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure each aircraft meets schedule and readiness milestones. What You’ll Do:

Lead the execution of aircraft assembly and integration from initial planning through final delivery
Serve as the technical and programmatic point of contact, managing coordination between engineering, manufacturing, systems, supply chain, and quality assurance teams
Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets,and risk registers to track progress and ensure milestones are met
Oversee the physical integration of structural , mechanical ,and avionic systems into aircraft platforms
Ensure configuration control , interface compatibility ,and alignment with certification and customer requirements
Identify and resolve technical and execution risks quicklyand efficiently
Communicate program status , risks ,and recovery plans clearlyto leadershipand customers

What You Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Engineering ,or a related technical field
8+ years of experience , including5+ years in aircraft assembly , integration ,or manufacturing engineeringand3+ years in a program or technical leadership role
Strong technical knowledge of aircraft structural assemblies , system installations , wiring , hydraulics ,and flight systems
Proven ability to manage program schedules , technical scope,and cross-functional resources
Experience with program management tools (e.g., MS Project , Smartsheets , Jira )and standard office applications
Demonstrated success in managing program schedules , technical scope,and cross-disciplinary teams
Excellent communication , organizational,and leadership skills
Expertise in advanced manufacturing tools ( CAD , PLM , MES )
Strong leadership , communication,and cross-functional coordination skills to set directionand mentor a diverse engineering team
Ability to thrive in a dynamic , high-iteration environment,b alancing big-picture program goals with hands-on real-time build solutions
