Job Description:
This role sits within the Strategy team leading brand and campaign strategies connecting music, sound, and voice to business impact. Partner with global brands to solve business and brand challenges through sound. Uncover insights, shape narratives, guide creative execution with commercial or brand-building objectives. Work across new business, active accounts, product innovation to grow client relationships and evolve strategic value. Tasks include pitching sonic identity, advising on brand architecture, crafting culturally attuned campaign briefs.
Main Job Duties:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Collaborate with Client Services to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct business research translating client goals into strategic direction (sonic branding, voice, campaigns).
- Design music strategies for consistency across touchpoints/timeframes.
- Work with research and creative teams to leverage findings for differentiation and creativity.
- Define measurement frameworks with creative/strategy/insights teams.
- Guide evolution of strategic offerings with Strategy & Innovation team.
- Provide senior support on marquee clients ensuring strategy alignment.
Creative Partnership & Execution
- Translate research/insight/brand analysis into creative briefings.
- Act as strategic sparring partner to creative teams; participate in reviews; refine concepts.
- Ensure strategic integrity from ideation to execution/delivery.
- Provide brand strategy input in new business efforts; support Partnerships team in pitch narratives.
- Oversee creation of pitch decks/frameworks/case studies positioning strategy as driver of success.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Represent Strategy team internally/externally as senior authority.
- Contribute to industry conversations via panels/keynotes/editorials/events.
- Explore cultural trends/creative disciplines/external partnerships enhancing strategic services.
- Design/deliver internal learning sessions building capability/alignment regionally.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years in brand strategy, communications planning or creative strategy in agency or brand environments.
- Strong portfolio showing strategic thinking applied to music, branding or culturally relevant creative work.
- Deep understanding of brand architecture, audience segmentation, multichannel brand expression.
- Proven ability translating complex research/insights into compelling narratives/frameworks.
- Confident communicator/facilitator able to engage clients, lead workshops, align teams.
- Familiarity with sonic branding/audio innovation/music-driven marketing is a strong advantage.
