Training Program Manager Job Description: Role Overview:

• The Training Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Articulate’s customer training programs.
• Ensures training programs scale effectively to meet customer and organizational needs.
• Drives end-to-end execution of customer enablement programs including content development, facilitation, program operations, and quality management.
• Partners with revenue, marketing, product, and customer-facing teams to align training resources with customer workflows.
• Acts as a senior-level product evangelist delivering demonstrations, webinars, VIP sessions, and customer-facing assets.
• Represents the voice of the customer in beta programs, advocacy initiatives, and feedback channels.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Enablement (50%)

• Identify customer learning needs and maintain training roadmap.
• Design and deliver webinars, workshops, onboarding experiences, conference presentations.
• Develop scalable learning assets: tutorials, guides, templates, practice activities.
• Collaborate with revenue teams to align training materials with customer priorities.
• Provide expert guidance on Articulate products throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Deliver VIP training programs tailored to strategic customers.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency of all training content and assets.

Program Management (25%)

• Manage project schedules for training initiatives including deliverables and timelines.
• Oversee customer training site content organization and updates.
• Lead operational planning for events/workshops including vendor management.
• Develop systems for organizing training materials and documentation.
• Manage internal review processes for accuracy and quality assurance.
• Analyze and report on training assessments and performance metrics.

Product Evangelism (15%)

• Deliver high-impact product demonstrations, webinars, VIP sessions reflecting expert knowledge.
• Serve as internal guide and external ambassador on e-learning best practices and product positioning.
• Support sales, customer success, marketing teams with accurate product messaging.

Customer Advocacy (10%)

• Act as liaison between customers and internal teams to inform product/training decisions.
• Participate in beta testing; provide feedback based on real-world usage.
• Build relationships with customers/community members to identify emerging needs.
• Collaborate with marketing/sales/customer success to refine messaging aligned with workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, instructional design or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years experience in instructional design or customer education/training program development.
• Strong facilitation/public speaking skills; confident presenting to individuals/groups/executives.
• Strategic thinker aligning solutions with business goals.
• Excellent collaborator working cross-functionally internally/externally.
• Exceptional written/verbal communication skills; clear narrative building ability.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills managing multiple initiatives independently.
• Comfortable with technology; expertise preferred in Rise, Storyline, e-learning tools/workflows.
• Positive attitude, growth mindset, empathy, team-first approach.
• Ability to travel.
